Reality strikes again. When people put their hope in men (or women for that matter) they will be disappointed (to varying degrees) with the outcome. For me... My hope is in the LORD who made the heavens and the earth. He rules the nations. Praise the LORD!
I mentioned this to a few friends at breakfast this morning. Asad will probably get "droned" like Solemani at some point. Chaos is the rule not the exception. I also saw a lot of headlines like this... "President Musk... blah, blah, blah". Our enemies will stoop to any depth to try and destroy us. Do I care? NO!
I'm not a math guy but I think this is true: the more variables there are the more complex the problem, and 99.9% of the people are incapable (laziness, lack of interest, too busy, low IQ, etc.) of even trying to process even a small percentage of the variables in this crazy world. You do have a knack for picking winners and losers, but even Moses and the prophets were rejected by the people they served.
I'm looking forward your analysis of Tucker Carlson's "six things". JT
I didn't vote for Trump, never have. He won in my (southern) state, a foregone conclusion. I didn't vote, why bother, a choice between terrible and worse. I was hoping to vote for Laffey...
Where is Laffey now that we really need him? He's on the beach with Biden ;-[
Trump makes promises he can't (or won't) keep. For instance, ramp up oil production. For whom, to sell on the world market? The US has lost several large refineries in the past few years. Who is going to refine the oil? Nobody will build one-- too expensive and too long to build. Trump wants to buy crypto currency for storage-- with whose money? Shouldn't the president be propping up the (dying) dollar? He's going to deport the illegals-- after how many years when all the damned liberals' court cases are decided? 99% of everything Trump attempts to do will end up as a court case.
Mr. Mayor, enjoy yourself. Go make some money. There's nothing you can do-- nobody is listening.
Who did I vote for, Well Steve Laffey wasn't on the ballot.
Sure as heck wasn't going to vote for a Democrat!
Ha! Thank you Jim!
