First Carlson says the USA blew up the dam.
“Over and over this year, Carlson affirmatively said the Biden administration blew up the pipeline. This was stated as fact. He used this to accuse our government of terrorism.
Jan. 31: “And so that’s why we blew up the Nord Stream pipeline.”
Feb. 8: “And now, we have the actual answer to what happened. Oh, the Biden administration did it, for real.”
Feb. 9: Carlson cited an uncorroborated report “we believe proving that the Biden administration blew up the Nord Stream 2 pipelines.”
Then Carlson says it was Ukraine that blew up the dam.
“Any fair person would conclude that the Ukrainians probably blew [the dam] up, just as you would assume they blew up Nord Stream, the Russian natural gas pipeline, last fall,” Carlson said. “And in fact, Ukrainians did do that, as we now know.”
All of this nothing but anti-Ukraine conspiracy theory. Maybe Carlson and Trump can discuss more crazy theories like this on Wednesday night.
The truth is that Russia blew up the dam. The dam was blown up from inside. The Russians control the dam. It took massive explosives to blow up the dam. Unless this was a “Hogan’s Heroes” episode that came to life, the Russians blew up the dam. The Russians benefited from blowing up the dam by 1) creating a scorched-earth policy on land they know they will not keep 2) making it harder for Ukraine to advance. 3) destroying the ability of Ukraine to grow food for their own people.
