You and I have discussed the car biz more than a couple of times, Steve. You began hitting on something that I'm very familiar with regarding Toyota. The media went after Toyota on many occasions (because that's what the media does.....if you're not fully behind a Leftist vision for America) but they did go after Toyota because they weren't "all--in" on the EV thing. Toyota kept their powder dry and gave a little lip service but they have been working on a brand new 1.5 liter ICE engine that burns hydrogen. It's not their first foray into hydrogen because they've had the Mirai for a long time but only sold in California. Keep your eyes on Toyota, Steve. They're working with Honda and Yamaha on hydrogen EV's also. It's the way of the future and if they can overcome the storage issue with hydrogen, and then if they build out refueling stations.....say, with regular gas stations across the country, they will decimate the American auto manufacturers once more.
It's not what I prefer to happen because you and I are both, Ford guys but Ford went all in with Biden and their EV mandates / ridiculous EPA goals
