Eight Republicans on national TV in Milwaukee and two big egos taking to millions on Twitter and NOTHING accomplished for Republican voters or the American people. Like Laffey has said from the beginning, his party, OUR party, REFUSES to confront the real problems. There was hardly any discussion of anything important. Especially the issues they can’t talk about because they apparently don’t even think about them. Laffey’s been thinking about them and warning us for years. Laffey has solutions. Laffey knows what to do. Maybe that’s why they didn’t want him on that stage.
I had choices last night-- tweedily dee or tweedily dumb. Tweedily dee was on tv and featured 8 self-proclaimed Republican conservatives. First, I don't think any of them have heard of Ronald Reagan's "Eleventh Amendment" because they spent (at least for the hour I wasted watching) their time bashing each other instead of bashing commie puppet Biden. When asked questions about national issues they replied with generalities and sound bytes. Did anybody see a potentially strong candidate for President, one with concrete plans for curing the nation's many ills? Or I could have watched on the tweety bird social media the former president proclaim for the zillionth time what a great president he was. I shut the boob tube off and read some good articles on Substack.
The only candidate with solid, common sense plans, Steve Laffey, didn't make the stage because the RNC wanted to have an entertaining "debate" to add to the cloudy thinking of the voters. The RNC didn't want a candidate that wants to save this great Republic on their show.
