Yes, the good old days (and, some bad ones, too)-- mischief and fun. It's good that we have these memories, because things have changed, not for the good. Those were the days that we had patriotism for the country. Little did we know, young and naïve, that the country was starting on a long downward road. President Dwight D. "Ike" Eisenhower warned us. We should have listened.

By the way, I graduated from CHE in '67 with some of the Bennetts. They are a fine family.

Thanks for sharing such profound memories of your early life, Steve. Some of the antics that you described with Peter reminds me of a "situation" or two that involved me and my first cousin Phillip. He's always been a close relative and my closest buddy. Merry Christmas.

Steve, Cis4Mission has published a study on education which I hope you will take a look at : https://cis4mission.org/cfm-esx : it is not for the faint of heart! It digs deeply into the issues that I have heard you speak on many times! We need people who care to engage. Our education system is broken and it's not going to get fixed without a radical change, starting with a Republican President who knows what the word "educate" means, and which is not "bluster" and "bully"!
