I Submitted Eight Op Eds to the Wall Street Journal During This Campaign For President. They Have Not Published Any of Them.
But they did like the one Jim and I wrote when I was 23 years old. I thought I became a better writer. But I guess not. No matter who we sent them to, not published except for the TFP and U.L.
The Tampa Free Press published most of them, and I am grateful. The Union Leader published one of them—thank you.

My wife, Kelly, loves to fish. I am blessed I caught her.
Having written numerous commentaries and letters to the editor over the years, I understand how difficult and mostly unrewarding such efforts are. First, you must write as if you graduated from a prestigious school of journalism. Second, your subject matter must attract readers. Third, your writing must be factual (which is tough in today's censoring atmosphere). Fourth, you must not insult or alienate (even if the subject lends itself to that). Sixth, and very important now, your subject must not go against the established (establishment) line of propaganda. So, I'm not surprised Steve's efforts getting published have not been very successful.
Is there such a thing as a "dark horse" or "break-through" candidate anymore? Steve Laffey has taken on the challenge of finding out. I wish you the best of luck, sir-- this country needs you. Unfortunately, serious legitimate candidates for office are, at best, a rarity. To be successful, it seems, means being a known personality, having (or being capable of raising) obscene amounts of money, and having the "blessings" of the elite (or now, the filthy rich cabal). My friend, Steve Laffey is fighting a gallant David vs. Goliath battle. I wish the best and hope you will join me in supporting Steve.
Go Steve Laffey!!
